The Meiyou’s (没有)

Meiyou’s (没有 méiyǒu) suck.
I hate hearing it.  I know I’m going to.  You order something that’s ON  the menu, but you know it’s a little out of season, and you get it: “meiyou”.  Fuck you.
You go to a movie theater and ask if the flick that’s playing will have English subtitles: “meiyou”.  Fuck you too, [...]

Signs in China

I’ve always loved the translations signs have in China. The high-paid translators are obviously working on other projects.

Both signs pictured are from an amusment park ride at Chongming Island’s Forest Park (崇明岛森林公园). Sweet signs. Unfortunately, there was no space walk. What a tease.
