Here they are, in all their glory.
I think I may have a little problem here. Too much time spent on this see yesterday’s post).
In case you can’t tell what you’re looking at, there’s:
-a cooked and an uncooked shrimp
-a plate of sushi
-bowls of 馄饨 (wonton, though my wife disputes this and says they’re 饺子) and 红烧肉面 hongshao roumian (braised pork noodle soup) or 牛腩面 niunan mian (beef stomach noodle soup)
-小排骨 (a pork riblet), the 红烧肉 braised pork, 腊肉 la rou or 回锅肉 huiguorou
-鸡爪 jizhua (a chicken’s foot) and 鸡翅 jichi (a chicken wing)
and a 杨梅 yangmei (waxberry or bayberry)
I also saw the rolled up lamb for hotpot, star fruit and dragon fruit, but alas, I’d already bought too many.
Ok, enough of this.
