Papa Johns in China

Not only is Shanghai now swimming with Papa Johns locations, (giving us a much better option than Pizza Hut, which is always swarming with people), they are actually showing that yes, they do care.

When the delivery guys come to your home, if you speak (or appear) Chinese, they will ask if you have any garbage that needs taking out.

Now that is sweet service!  Better than the grumps at some restaurants.

P.S.  And yes, I’ve thought about whether Papa Johns is secretly using my garbage to make pizzas, but the freshness of their dough and toppings trumped it.

Stupid Papa. They no longer offer to take out garbage. But the real problem is that they’ve outsourced their phone system to some call center whose staff tell you it might be 90 minutes to get a pizza. And they’ve bumped the prices up. Oh Papas, how quickly you fell.
